The collaborator could not contain his emotions.
The ‘parliament’ of unrecognised Abkhazia still rejected ratification of the agreement with the Russian Federation on investments.
This fact caused confusion and disappointment on the part of ‘ex-regionalist’ Oleg Tsarev. He wrote about it on his page in social network.
It was against the backdrop of the ratification of the investment agreement with Russia that riots broke out in Abkhazia, leading to the resignation of the ‘president’ of the unrecognised ‘republic’, Dialogue.UA writes.
Disappointed Tsarev wrote that at one time it was the Russian Federation that helped Abkhazia to ‘gain independence’; it was the Russian Federation that helped Abkhazia financially and received nothing in return.
Yesterday it became known that the ‘parliament’ of self-proclaimed Abkhazia did not ratify the investment agreement with Russia. The opposition, represented by MP Kan Kvarchia, said that in fact this agreement would have become ‘bondage’ for the region. At the same time, he also added that all the recent events in the ‘country’ are not against the Russian Federation. According to him, only personally ‘president’ and ‘head’ of the Ministry of Economy of Abkhazia were in favour of this agreement.
Back on November 15, more than a hundred people came to the building of the administration of Abkhazia demanding not to vote for ratification of the investment agreement with Russia. The ‘president’ himself was sure that the new agreement is a stimulus for the economic development of the region, but the opposition said that this is a direct betrayal of Abkhazia's ‘interests’.
Ultimately, Bzhania resigned and his duties are temporarily fulfilled by Gunba.
