Russian Federation Strikes Kyiv With Ballistics

In the morning, 12 February, Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv with ballistics. As a result of the attack hits of debris and fires in several districts of the capital are recorded.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Telegram the head of the Kyiv city military administration (KCMA) Tymur Tkachenko.
‘As a result of the enemy attack, hits of debris and fires were recorded in Holosiivskyi and Podilsky districts,’ he said at 04:45.
Tkachenko added that information about the victims is being established, services are being sent to the site.
‘Please stay in safe places until all clear,’ urged the head of the KCMA.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko in turn said that the emergency services are called to Solomensky, Svyatoshynsky, Holosiivsky and Podilsky districts of the city.
At the same time Timur Tkachenko reported that there are fires on the roofs of residential buildings in Solomensky and Svyatoshynsky district.
The head of the Ukrainian President's Office Andriy Yermak also reacted to the attack.
‘Russia carried out a missile strike against Kyiv and Kyiv region, the air defence was working against ballistics. This is how Putin wants the war to end,’ he wrote.

‘Fires in Holosiivsky, Podilsky and Svyatoshynsky districts. A fire is burning in the industrial zone in Obolonsky. Preliminary - damaged buildings nearby. All services are sent to the places,’ informed Klitschko.
At the same time, the head of the KCMA said that a fire in non-residential premises in Solomensky district of Kyiv had been recorded.

‘The fire on the roof of a nine-storey building in Svyatoshynsky district. No one has turned to medics yet,' the Kyiv mayor wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the latest data, one died in Podilsky district of Kyiv, Klitschko said. He also added that there was a fire in Darnytsky district on the territory of one of the private enterprises.

‘There is also one victim in Podilsky district. He was hospitalised by medics. Before that, a body was found in Podilsky district,‘ wrote the Kyiv mayor.
At the same time, the state emergency service reported that as a result of the Russian shelling, the fall of debris, destroyed buildings in different districts of the city were recorded in Kyiv and there is a dead person. In particular:
Obolonsky district - fire in the office building from the 7th to the 1st floor. 1 person died;
Holosiivsky district - large-scale fire of a warehouse building on the area of 600 square metres;
Svyatoshynsky district - falling debris, no casualties;
Solomensky district - fire on the roof of an apartment building.
‘Rescuers are working at all locations. The work on liquidating the consequences of the shelling continues,' added the State Emergency Situations Service.

Klitschko specified that the deceased and the injured, who was hospitalised were from Obolonsky district.

Klitschko said that as a result of Russian shelling, the number of victims in Kyiv has increased to three. Two of them medics hospitalised, one was assisted on the spot.
‘There is one dead in Obolonsky district,’ he added.
We remind you that from about 04:30, there were a series of explosions in Kyiv. The military warned that there is a threat of using ballistic weapons.
