Zelensky To Talk To Trump About Belarus

The Ukrainian President sees a threat from our country.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he would like to discuss the issue of Belarus at a meeting with US President Donald Trump.

“I think I will talk to President Trump about what the Russians are going to do with Belarus. We clearly understand this. I think there will be an opportunity to talk about this tomorrow, maybe even today,” Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters on February 14 in Munich, where he arrived to participate in the Security Conference.

Later, the Ukrainian president clarified:

“Do you know what is happening with the Belarusians? No one objected, no one thinks about it. But it is a fact. This year, Russia will prepare 15 divisions to train and strengthen the situation in the Belarusian direction. And we think that they will all be on the territory of Belarus, or partially. It will be, I don’t know, 100-150 thousand people. It’s just a large group.”

Switching to English, Zelensky added that he was not sure that this group would attack Ukraine. According to him, these forces could go either to Poland or the Baltic states.
