Syrsky Names Updated Losses Of Russia In Kursk Region

Total losses of Russians in the Kursk region are already almost 50 thousand people. About 20 thousand of them were killed.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky.

While in the Sumy region, Syrsky presented honorary awards to Ukrainian servicemen who hold the security zone and carry out combat missions, including in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

“These are, first of all, the brigades of the Airborne Assault Troops, as well as units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them are those who repel enemy assaults in the Kursk region and also carry out effective offensive actions,” he said.

The Commander-in-Chief noted that thanks to these soldiers, the Ukrainian front in the north is strong.

“Thanks to them, even six months after the start of the Kursk offensive operation, Ukraine retains control over hundreds of square kilometers of the territory of the aggressor country, and the enemy continues to suffer significant losses in manpower and equipment. Thus, the enemy's total losses in the Kursk region amount to more than 48 thousand people, of which about 20 thousand were killed,” he summed up.
