Explosions In Volgograd: Drones Attack Oil Refinery

Bright flashes were observed in the sky.

A series of powerful explosions thundered in Volgograd on the night of February 15. The Russians claim that air defense allegedly shot down unknown drones in the area of the local oil depot (oil refinery).

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

In particular, the SHOT channel writes that, according to local residents, the explosions began at about 03:15 local time. At the same time, bright flashes were observed in the sky. According to the Russians, the air defense system allegedly destroyed the drones as they approached the local oil refinery in the Krasnoarmeysky district of the city.

In addition, the sounds of explosions were heard in the Kirovsky district of the city and in the settlement of Krasnoslobodsk.

Later, a video was published on social networks in which one of the powerful explosions in Volgograd can be heard. SHOT specified that more than 15 explosions had thundered over the city, and they had not stopped for 45 minutes.

The Russians also said that against the background of the explosions in the courtyards, car alarms went off. At the same time, there is allegedly no damage yet. At the same time, the explosions are still continuing. There was no official information on this matter.
