At least 40 Ukrainian drones attacked Russian territory on the night of February 15, the Defense Ministry reported. In Volgograd, a drone crashed near the home of Russian military personnel, Astra writes. One person was injured.

According to the channel, a Ukrainian drone crashed into a multi-story building on General Shumilov Street, 77 in Volgograd. The regional administration reported the destruction of 17 drones over the region.

Head of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha also reported on the hits. According to him, fallen fragments of the drone caused a fire in the industrial zone in the Dzerzhinsky district. An oil refinery is also located there. In addition, in Rostov-on-Don, “fragments” of the drone hit a private house, where no one was at the time of the attack, said acting governor of the region Yuri Slyusar.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported in the morning that 40 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems over four Russian regions. 17 drones were shot down in the Volgograd region, 12 in the Kaluga region, 9 in the Rostov region, and 2 in the Saratov region. Residents of the Tula region also reported explosions at night, but this was not reflected in the department's report.

The Rosaviatsia Telegram channel noted that airports in seven Russian cities were closed amid the attacks: Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, Kaluga, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk.
