To avoid senseless death.
Russian soldiers are deliberately destroying and disabling military vehicles in the Pokrovsk direction to 'avoid death'. The Atesh partisan movement reported.
"Russian soldiers are disabling their equipment in the Pokrovsk direction... Cases of armoured vehicles being disabled, artillery being damaged, and weapons being deliberately damaged are recorded daily," the report reads.
The partisans specified that over the past month and a half, at least 12 vehicles have been disabled as a result of sabotage.
"5 infantry fighting vehicles and 2 T-72 tanks were damaged before they reached combat positions. 4 trucks and 1 armoured personnel carrier were rendered unusable after "sudden" engine and transmission failures," Atesh noted.

Sabotage is especially active among servicemen of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 5th Tank Brigade, who, according to Atesh, have already been repeatedly recorded refusing to follow orders and intentionally disabling equipment.
The Russian Armed Forces Command has already begun an investigation into these incidents.
The partisans explained that their agents played a special role in these acts of sabotage, having been given detailed instructions on how to properly and quickly disable vehicles.
“Panic is growing among the occupiers: the military is increasingly sabotaging orders and looking for ways to avoid senseless death,” Atesh noted.
