Russian Strike On Odesa: Over 250 Thousand Residents Left Without Electricity And Heating

New details of the attack have become known.

On the evening of February 18, the Russian occupation army launched a massive attack on Odesa. As a result of the attack, a significant part of the city was left without electricity, water and heat. Social infrastructure facilities were damaged. One victim is known to be receiving assistance in the hospital.

According to Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens and one of the largest districts of the city — more than 500 houses — where more than 250 thousand residents live, are without heat and electricity.

Specialists are already assessing the consequences and determining how much time is needed to eliminate them.

A children's clinic and a kindergarten were significantly damaged.

“We are unfolding tents. In the morning, the district administration will begin accepting applications from residents of damaged apartments. Utility services are eliminating the consequences of the attack,” Trukhanov said.

Heating points and invincibility points are being set up for people to warm up, charge their gadgets, or drink hot tea.
