At the request of the Homel District Prosecutor's Office, the Wildberries marketplace excluded products from the catalog that the authorities recognized as “extremist materials,” the Homel Region Prosecutor's Office reported.

Wildberries sold “Twenty Years of Slavery: Belarus Today” by Siarhei Siuzeu and “The Unknown War” by Otto Skorzeny. Several sellers also sold pendants and charms with the “Black Sun” emblem.

The book “Twenty Years of Slavery: Belarus Today” was published in 2017 with the help of the Russian service Ridero. It “describes the life of the Belarusian people during the reign of Aliaksandr Lukashenka, and shows the hardships of life of ordinary people who wanted to work quietly and live in peace, creating comfort and peace in their beloved country.” Added to the Belarusian “extremist list” in April 2023.

“The Homel District Prosecutor issued an order to the management of IMVBRB LLC, demanding that violations of the law be eliminated and that products recognized by the court as extremist materials be immediately excluded from the online catalog. The supervisory act was fully executed — the goods became unavailable for purchase on the territory of Belarus,” the prosecutor's office reported.
