Trump's Special Representative Kellogg Arrives In Kyiv

The first statements of the American general.

The special representative of US President Donald Trump on Ukraine and Russia, General Keith Kellogg, on Wednesday, 19 February, arrived on a visit in Kyiv. This is reported by ‘Suspilne’.

Kellogg was met at the railway station by the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

Commenting on his visit to the Ukrainian capital, the special envoy emphasised that ‘this is a chance to hold good potential negotiations’.

‘We will listen. We are ready to provide what is necessary. We understand the need for security guarantees. Part of my mission is to listen. Then I will go back to the United States, talk to President Trump to make sure we get it right,’ Kellogg emphasised.

He said he truly believes that ‘the war would not have started if Trump had been president then.’

‘He understands that people are suffering, he understands the devastation. And we want it to end,’ Trump's special envoy added.
