'Monkey Algorithm' Doesn't Work For Russians

In the border regions of the Russian Federation, all significant oil refining facilities were affected.

Starting from the end of November 2024 and until today, Ukraine has attacked all oil and gas industry facilities in the regions of the Russian Federation that have borders with Ukraine. This was stated by military expert Serhiy Hrabsky on the air of the telethon, writes unian.net.

He noted that Ukraine is interested in all oil refining complexes and enterprises that work for the occupiers, including the Syzran refinery in the Samara region, which was hit on the night of February 19, refining oil and producing products that go to support the army of the aggressor.

According to him, now Ukraine is already expanding this geography in order to complicate the supply of fuel and lubricants both for the needs of the army and for the needs of the military economy.

"We cannot achieve any parity on the front line in terms of personnel, but we can make sure that this advantage of the enemy in people, as well as in tanks, artillery was leveled due to lack of fuel and ammunition for them," Hrabsky stressed.

According to him, Ukraine is looking for weaknesses in the protection of facilities in the Russian Federation that work for the war and strike at them. At the same time, he adds that it was officially stated that at the end of January 2025, approximately 17% of the entire oil refining sector in Russia was damaged or destroyed.

The expert notes that Russia is trying to embody the experience of Ukraine in using mobile fire groups, but the enemy's weak point is that the territory is large and it is impossible to close it all from strikes, because you will not be able to put machine gunners around to shoot down drones.

"Russia can, using the so-called monkey algorithm, duplicate our schemes, but they do not always work in its conditions," said Hrabsky.

He notes that strikes on oil refining have a triple effect — military, economic, political. “And even the moral effect. Because it is a real pleasure to listen to the screams and cries of Russians who are worried that they are being beaten there, "he added.
