Russia’s Disaster

The propagandists still have a sobering moment ahead.
Russian propaganda platforms are spreading odes and pompous reports about how the breakthrough of Russian troops to Sudzha via the gas pipeline was a unique and highly effective operation.
And this sounds extremely ambiguous against the background of the hubbub that was going on among the so-called z-war correspondents regarding the fact that Operation Potok ended in complete failure and disaster.
Meanwhile, I have very interesting information for assessing the effectiveness of this operation, namely, a nomination for awarding the participants of the breakthrough operation to Sudzha.
According to the available information, nominations for awarding various degrees of merit have been submitted for 112 participants in the operation. Moreover, not only those who participated in the run along the pipeline are taken into account, but also the officer corps who organized this run and the support groups.
And, in my opinion, this is both a very strange and very verbose figure.
More than 800 people were driven into the pipe
The fact is that the day before a report was published dedicated to this “heroic” operation, in which the commander of the Vostok DRShB with the call sign Zombie (former commander of the 3rd assault detachment of the Wagner PMC) said that more than 800 people were driven into the pipe, that is, more than a battalion.
On March 12, head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to Putin, during his visit to the Kursk region, that more than 600 Russian servicemen participated in the operation to pass through the pipe in Sudzha, as part of the Veterans, Akhmat, 11th Separate Assault Brigade, 72nd Motorized Rifle Division and 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment.
Question: how is it that the operation participants name one number, the command names another, and a third number is nominated for an award, and, I repeat, some of those awarded are those who did not crawl through the pipe?
Also, the day before, Russian propagandist Sladkov published a video with the company commander of the 60th Airborne Assault Brigade Veter at one of the entrances to the pipe, in which the commander, without any euphoria or admiration for what is happening, but on the contrary, with despondency and reluctance, talks about the risks of suffocation.
Now, photos and videos are increasingly being published on the Internet of how the bodies of those who suffocated in the pipe are being taken out.
The question remains open — how many participants of Operation Potok are left in the pipe, if according to some sources there were more than 800, according to others more than 600, 112 will receive awards live, and in the video of the units leaving the pipe we do not see a number greater than a platoon?
Also, a few words about the uniqueness and effectiveness of this operation.
They started developing the Potok operation three weeks ago and began when the Ukrainian side stopped receiving intelligence from the United States, and logistics with Ukrainian units in the Kursk region significantly worsened, which caused the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops. That is, Operation Potok began when the decision to withdraw Ukrainian troops had already been made in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and they were retreating south under the cover of the rearguard. In other words, there was no point in conducting Operation Potok at that time!
In general, there might not have been a breakthrough to Sudzha via the pipeline, because General Alexander Lapin, the commander of the “North” group of troops, was offered a landing of troops from helicopters. The operation was proposed to involve 2-3 links of Mi-8 helicopters, with the ability to land from 150 to 250 people, and a cover link of Mi-28N attack helicopters. The flight time to the landing site, taking into account the 15 kilometers of the pipe, is about 2-3 minutes.
But Alexander Lapin decided not to conduct the landing operation, not wanting to risk the helicopters, choosing the option with the pipe and starting it when it was no longer really needed...
I think that after the wave of euphoria, a moment of sobering up will come among Russian propagandists, and the most immoral relays of the regime's lies will be horrified by the facts that they will rise to the surface, along with those suffocated in the pipe.
