At the same time, there is no talk of encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region. Journalist Yuriy Butusov reported this on Facebook.

According to him, not a single unit has been cut off in the Kursk region. Butusov emphasized that Ukrainian defenders are holding a tactically advantageous line of defense.

The journalist stated that maintaining control over certain positions plays a key role in defending the border strip. In addition, he denied claims about the threat of a large-scale offensive by Russian troops.

“There is currently no threat of a large-scale offensive on Sumy and the Sumy region by significant forces. Attacks by small groups are possible, but at a short distance, without the ability to advance far,” Butusov said.
