Kremlin’s ‘Signal’ For Trump About Ceasefire

Moscow is concerned.

The Kremlin believes that the call for a ceasefire in Ukraine is seen as an "attempt to give the Ukrainian forces time to rearm." Russia has sent its "signal" to the United States.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian dictator, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

"We perceive this as an attempt to give a breather to the Ukrainian troops, who are currently going through tough times. The Russian army is advancing on all fronts, and in this situation, we might see (the ceasefire) as an attempt to provide time for rearmament and regrouping of Ukrainian forces," Ushakov said.

The assistant to the Russian dictator stated that Russia has communicated its "concerns" to the U.S..

According to Ushakov, contacts between Russia and the U.S. continue, but not at the presidential level.

He added that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will be organized as soon as the need arises. Ushakov claims that the meeting could be arranged fairly quickly.
