Ukraine Won’t Sign US Agreement If It Jeopardizes EU Accession

This was stated by Zelensky.

The agreement with the US on rare earth metals will not be signed if it threatens Ukraine's accession to the European Union.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a briefing on Friday.

“The Constitution of Ukraine clearly states that our course is towards the EU. There are very important reforms, there are corresponding steps. Nothing that could jeopardize Ukraine's accession to the EU can be accepted,” the president emphasized.

The head of the Ukrainian state added that he would consider the agreement “when there are no corresponding legislative threats there.”
