Russians Raised Prices For Hotels In Belarus

Prices have soared by 17% compared to last year.

The cost of a night booked by Russians in March 2025 in Belarusian hotels has increased by 10% compared to February of this year, and by 17% compared to March 2024.

One night in Belarusian hotels cost a Russian visitor an average of 6.9 thousand Russian rubles or 81 dollars in March.

This is the most significant increase both compared to the previous month and compared to the same period last year in foreign countries popular with Russians, according to Kommersant data.

For example, in Turkish hotels, the price increased by 1% compared to February, and by 2% compared to March 2024. In March 2025, it was 8.4 thousand Russian rubles. In Georgia, the increase was, respectively, by 2% and 5%, this is 5.6 thousand Russian rubles. In Abkhazia — 9% and 13% (6.3 thousand Russian rubles).

In many countries, prices fell. In China, a night in a hotel became cheaper by 7% by February 2025, and by March 2024 — by 17% (9.5 thousand Russian rubles). In Kazakhstan, respectively, by 5% and 14% (5.4 thousand Russian rubles).

The most expensive hotels for Russians were in the UAE, with a cost being an average of 19.8 thousand Russian rubles per night. By February, the price in them fell by 4%, and by March last year it increased by 6%.

In Armenia, prices did not change at all either by February or by March 2024, remaining at the level of 5.8 thousand Russian rubles.
