Next Ramstein Meeting May Take Place In Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is considering the possibility of holding the next meeting of the leading countries and member countries of thematic arms coalitions in the Ramstein format in Ukraine.
This was stated by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
Umerov noted that the Ramstein is the main platform for supplying Ukraine with weapons, military equipment and ammunition. Each country that provides such support is very important.
“We talked with the leaders of all coalitions — there are nine of them now, today we signed an agreement on a new coalition on electronic warfare. We will continue to cooperate with everyone. I will propose holding their meeting in Ukraine so that colleagues from each of the coalitions can come to Ukraine, talk not only with us, but also with representatives of the Security and Defense Forces, and involve our defense industry — this will be a new format. We will report on specific steps a little later,” the Minister said.
According to him, yesterday's meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine was attended by ministers from European, Asian countries, and the United States. The Ukrainian side informed them of the security situation and presented Ukraine's key needs, both urgent and long-term.
The focus was on the supply of air defense systems and interceptor missiles, the supply of missiles, artillery, ammunition, armored vehicles, and continued funding.
“I am very grateful to our partners for their support. We received 21 billion euros, and these are very powerful packages and significant aid,” Umerov emphasized.
