Russia Hits Kyiv, Kharkiv With Shaheds: Fires In Both Cities

On the night of April 11-12, Russian occupation forces carried out drone attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv, using Shahed type UAVs, reports Focus.

The press service of the Kyiv city military administration reported on the consequences of the enemy attack in the capital of Ukraine.

“As a result of the enemy attack, the fall of debris from the downed UAVs, a fire was recorded in the Svyatoshinsky and Darnytsky districts of Kyiv. A private house and a non-residential building were damaged,” the report says.

The Kyiv city military administration clarified that rescuers are already working at the scene, and information about the victims and the scale of the destruction is being clarified.

Later, mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko noted that at least two victims are known.

“There are already two victims in the Svyatoshinsky district. "Medics are providing assistance,” Klitschko wrote.

He specified that in the Darnytsky district, where the UAV debris fell, a private house was destroyed, but there were no casualties.

Russian Armed Forces strike on Kharkiv

After 4 am, Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the Russians had struck the city three times.

“There were three strikes on Kharkov by Shahed-type UAVs, two of them in the Nemyshlyansky district,” Terekhov wrote.

Chairman of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Sinehubov also reported several times about the explosions in Kharkiv.

The local authorities did not report information about the scale of the destruction caused by the Russians, but after 5 am Ihor Terekhov provided information about the casualties.

“At the moment, there is one victim of the Shahed attacks on Kharkiv. Their condition is preliminary mild,” Terekhov emphasized.
