He emphasized that there is very fierce fighting in the Kursk region now. „Because for them this is already a matter of principle. Pokrovsk has no strategic significance at all. But they were so eager to get to it, they promised to take it so much that it has political significance for them,” Sazonov noted.

He emphasized that the capture of the entire Donetsk region is important for the enemy. According to him, the agglomeration most important for them is Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk. The military man added:
