The battle started in Glushkovo district.
AFU fighters broke through the border in Kursk region and approached the village of Otruby in Glushkovo district. Then the fight with the Russian military began.
This is reported by the Russian Mash media.
‘Three companies of the AFU tried to enter the farm Otruby in Glushkovo district of Kursk region,’ stated the message.

It is noted that the AFU units were allegedly ‘spotted’ by Russian border guards, which led to a fight.
‘The enemy entered Kursk region and started a fight with our military. After four waves of attack, artillery got involved and the enemy stopped. The AFU are trying not to let the front close on the territory of the Russian Federation, so they are advancing to settlements on the border, as in Belgorod region,’ the media writes.
The AFU General Staff has not yet commented on the information circulated in the Russian media about the fighting near Otruby.
