The candidate from the party that belongs to the ruling coalition is leading.
According to a fresh poll by the United Surveys agency, on request of the Wirtualna Polska portal, the Civic Coalition candidate Rafal Trzaskowski has received the highest support among Poles, Polskie Radio reports.
If the presidential elections were held in Poland next Sunday, 56 per cent of voters would take part in them. As polling data shows, in the first round:
Rafal Trzaskowski (Civic Coalition) would receive 31.7 per cent of the vote. This is 1.8% less than a week earlier and 6.6% less than in early April.
Karol Nawrocki, backed by the Law and Justice party, would have 27.6 per cent, up 2.1 per cent from the previous poll and 7.5 per cent since the beginning of the month.
Slawomir Mentzen (Confederation) - 11.3 per cent (down 2.1 per cent).
Szymon Holownia (Poland 2050) - 7.1 per cent (minus 2 per cent).
Magdalena Biejat (Left) - 6.4 per cent (+0.1 per cent).
Adrian Zandberg (Together) - 4.4 per cent (+3 per cent).
5.9 per cent of respondents have not yet made up their minds.
If Trzaskowski and Nawrocki had made it to the second round:
Trzaskowski would have received 50.5 per cent (a 5.2 per cent drop),
Nawrocki - 40.2% (+2.2%).
If Trzaskowski's opponent in the second round was Mentzen:
Trzaskowski - 52.6% (-3.9%),
Mentzen - 42.8% (+9.1%).
The United Surveys poll was conducted between 17 and 19 April 2025 on a representative sample of 1,000 people by telephone and online interviews.
