Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Command Authority. This came after Islamabad launched a military operation against India and struck several bases.

The body is the highest body of civilian and military officials that makes decisions on security issues, including those related to the country's nuclear arsenal, the publication said.
Tensions between nuclear-armed India and Pakistan escalated this week as they accused each other of violating each other's airspace by sending drones and other munitions, killing at least 48 people.
Pakistan-India standoff
Pakistan launched a military operation against India on May 10. The Pakistani government announced the launch of Operation Bunyan ul Marsus. The name of the operation comes from a verse from the Quran called "The Unbreakable Wall."
In particular, numerous explosions occurred in the Indian cities of Amritsar and Jammu. In addition, a blackout was recorded in several states in India. Pakistani authorities claim to have knocked out most of India's power grid through cyberattacks.
