All of them concern Ukraine.
French President Emmanuel Macron voiced three main messages after arriving in Kiev as part of the "coalition of the resolute". All of them concern Ukraine.
About it writes RBC-Ukraine with reference to his Twitter (X).
"Back in Kiev, the first thing I thought about was Ukrainians. For over three years you have resisted with admirable courage. For your land. For your freedom. For Europe. Because yes, the security of our continent is at stake here," he said.
Macron said that in the face of Russian aggression, the response must be collective, which is why he is making this trip together with Germany, Poland and Britain.
Macron's three messages
First, according to the French president, is peace - a just and lasting peace begins with a complete and unconditional ceasefire.
"This is a proposal that we are putting forward together with the United States. Ukraine accepted it on March 11. But Russia is delaying, setting conditions, buying time and continuing its war of conquest," Macron recalled.
He said that if Moscow persists in blocking it, "we, as Europeans and in close coordination with the United States, will step up the pressure."
"We welcome President Trump's call to take this step. Our unity is our strength. That is also the point of this trip: we all want peace!" - he added.
Sovereignty
Macron says the peace agreement to be built must guarantee security.
"This is what we have been working on in the meetings in Paris, London and today in Kiev. We are moving forward together," he stated.
Future
The French President reminded that Ukraine is fighting not only for its people.
"But also for the European ideal in which we believe. A free, strong, prosperous and European Ukraine is our horizon. History is watching us," the French president summarized.
