The chief ideologist of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan visits Belarus.

The press service of the Belarusian military department reported about the official visit of the Uzbek Defense Ministry delegation to Belarus on May 10.

It is noted, in particular, that "within the framework of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory," Uzbek Deputy Defense Minister for Educational and Ideological Work Khamdam Karshiev visited the Brest Fortress-Hero Memorial Complex.

It is not reported whether any negotiations between Karshiev and the military and political leadership of Belarus are planned. Uzbek media and the defense ministry do not mention the visit at all.
