Six Heads Of Ukraine's National Guard Suspended From Their Posts

It has become known what they are suspected of.
They worked on logistical support. Brigadier General Alexander Pivnenko, commander of the National Guard, is among those suspended.
Six officials of the senior staff of the logistics direction of the Main Directorate of the National Guard have been suspended from their posts.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported this. It is noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has appointed an official investigation.
"Full assistance to the investigation is provided," the ministry added.
The ZN.UA publication, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, reported about searches of a number of officials of the National Guard, conducted on May 9 and 10. In particular, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) conduct searches in the framework of the case opened under three articles of the Criminal Code: part 5 of Art. 191 ("misappropriation, embezzlement of property or taking possession of it by abuse of office"); part. 3 of Art. 209 ("legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime"); part. 3 and part 4 of Article 368 ("acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official").
According to the publication, NABU detectives came with searches to the home of the:
the commander of the National Guard, Brigadier General Alexander Pivnenko;
director of the Department of Logistics of the NSU, Colonel Sergey Gritsenko;
director of the Department of Logistics of the NSU, Colonel Nikolai Modlinsky;
Deputy Director of Logistics Department - Head of Automobile and Armored Vehicles Department of NSU, Colonel Alexander Kalatinets;
Colonel Denis Ganaze, Head of Cantonment and Capital Construction Department;
Colonel Colonel Denis Ganaze, Head of Central Base of Production and Technological Completion of NSU (Kiev), Colonel Colonel Alexandr Kalatinets.
The searches are also taking place in the offices of the Central Support Base of the Main Directorate of the National Guard.
