Pakistan And India Agree On Ceasefire

After a long night of negotiations and U.S. mediation.

US President Donald Trump said India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire.

"After a long night of US-brokered negotiations, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire. I congratulate both countries for showing common sense and a high level of reasonableness. Thank you for your attention to this important issue!", Trump wrote on his Truth Social.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar confirmed what the US president said about the ceasefire agreement with India. The Pakistani foreign minister wrote about this on social networking site X.

"Pakistan and India have agreed on a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region without conceding its sovereignty and territorial integrity!" reported Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
