The winner of the World Car of the Year 2025 competition has been announced, according to Motor.ru.

The award, which is tacitly dubbed the "automotive Oscar," is given based on the results of the competition. According to its rules, the participating models must meet several requirements.

Secondly, at least 10 thousand cars must be produced per year.

Thirdly, the cost of the nominee must be lower than in the luxury class.

- "Luxury Car of the Year" - Volvo EX90.
