Warsaw responds to Russian sabotage.
Poland withdraws consent to the operation of the Russian consulate in Krakow. This was announced by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. He justified the decision by the existence of evidence that Russian special services organized last year's sabotage in a shopping center in Warsaw.
When exactly the work of the consulate will cease, it is not yet reported.
On May 11, the Polish authorities officially accused Russian special services of setting fire to the Marywilska 44 shopping center in Warsaw in May 2024.
W związku z dowodami, że to rosyjskie służby specjalne dokonały karygodnego aktu dywersji wobec centrum handlowego przy Marywilskiej, podjąłem decyzję o wycofaniu zgody na działanie konsulatu Federacji Rosyjskiej w Krakowie.
