In Russian Federation, A Forest Fire Has Come Close To The Closed Town Of Tsiolkovsky

The flames of a forest fire that approached the closed town of Tsiolkovsky in the Amur region have been localized. This was announced by the head of ZATO Vitaly Brizhaty in his Telegram channel.

"Today, like our neighbors in the Svobodnensky district, from early morning we threw all forces to fight the forest fire, which at some point came close to the city. At the moment the fire is localized, there is no threat to the city," he wrote.

Brizhaty also reminded that often the cause of fires are people themselves because of careless handling of fire, which leads to devastating consequences.

"Today they have been avoided, but I once again call you to prudence. A special fire prevention regime is in effect in the region, follow the rules and be extremely careful with fire," he appealed to local residents.
