Russia Is Preparing For A Large-scale Offensive In Ukraine

Russia appears to be preparing for a larger offensive in Ukraine, in place of signaling a readiness for peace talks.

This is reported by Financial Times.

Ukrainian intelligence officials told the publication that Russia is moving forces into key hotspots on the battlefield.

Deep State, a Ukrainian think tank close to the Defense Ministry, said Russian forces have seized more territory in the eastern Donetsk region this week, especially around the Pokrovsk and Toretsk hotspots.

The publication noted that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has vowed to visit Turkey regardless of Vladimir Putin's plans. He has raised the stakes in a Western-led pressure campaign to get Putin to participate in peace talks.
