EU Ambassadors Approve 17th Package Of Sanctions Against Russia

The pressure on the RF is increasing.

European Union ambassadors on Wednesday, May 14, agreed on the 17th package of sanctions against Russia, Radio Liberty correspondent Rickard Jozwiak reported.

"EU ambassadors just gave the green light to the 17th package of sanctions against Russia," Jozwiak wrote on social network X.

He said EU ambassadors also approved additional sanctions against Russia for human rights violations, hybrid interventions around the world and chemical weapons proliferation.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said earlier that Ukraine and a "coalition of the willing" expect the US and European countries to impose significant sanctions against Russia if it does not uphold a 30-day ceasefire.
