Lukashenko's Law Enforcers Want To Train Policemen From The UAE

They propose to teach security to "top officials and especially important witnesses."

Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Ivan Kubrakov met with Chief of Police of Dubai (United Arab Emirates) Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri - they discussed the training of Emirati police officers in our country, reported the press service of the Interior Ministry.

The World Police Summit is held in Dubai on May 13-15, where Kubrakov met with Al Marri. They discussed "opportunities to deepen cooperation between the countries in the law enforcement sphere."

"One of the main areas of cooperation is the training of Emirati police officers in Belarus. We are ready to expand it, including in such areas as ensuring the security of top officials and especially important witnesses, protection of public order during mass events, as well as in large shopping centers," said Kubrakov.

The parties agreed to exchange delegations "on practical areas of cooperation" in the near future. The head of the Interior Ministry presented the Dubai police chief with a book with views of Belarus "in order to prepare and choose which places you want to visit."

The meeting with Kubrakov has not yet been reported in the social networks of the Dubai police.
