Occupiers From "Storm-Z" Pretended To Be AFU Fighters

How they were exposed.

Ukrainian border guards captured Russians from the "Storm-Z" unit in Kharkiv region. They tried to pass themselves off as AFU fighters.

The details told in the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

A group of Russians in the Kupyansk direction were captured by the grenade throwers of the 4th commandant's office of the "Revenge" brigade of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. They tried to pass themselves off as Ukrainian military.

"They were wearing the arm insignia of the Lugansk detachment, but it turned out that they were soldiers of the 25th Motorized Rifle Guards Regiment - former prisoners, now fighters of the unit "Storm-Z", - said in the GPSU.

The occupants were found in a pit, which far from resembled a dugout. They had some equipment and were carrying assault rifles. When ordered to come out, they tried to pass themselves off as border guards of the Lugansk border detachment.

"I asked: "Who are they?" They: "We are the third Lugansk (Lugansk border detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine - ed.), the third Lugansk, go away, go away. Drones are flying here," says one of our fighters with the call sign "Prapor".

The occupants were given away by their Russian accent and the fact that they were confused in their "testimony" and could not name their place of residence in Ukraine. They also said that they initially wanted to surrender.

"But these are fairy tales. If they have a radio station, also a 'spider' - a big wire on a tree - it means they were waiting, listening," says a grenade launcher with the call sign "Prapor".

The Russians were eventually captured and then handed over to the relevant authorities.
