More Than 50 Thousand Belarusians Are Already On The Waiting List For A German Visa

The queue continues to grow longer every day.

The Telegram channel "Visa mole" reported that now more than 50 thousand citizens of Belarus are waiting for their turn to register for a German visa. At the same time, the number of those wishing to issue an entry document to Germany continues to grow - more and more new applications are registered every day.

It is noted that the interest of Belarusians in Schengen visas of Germany has increased significantly in recent years. For example, only in 2023, the German consulate in Minsk issued almost 52 thousand visas, which allowed Belarus to become one of the five countries with the largest number of visas in the EU, according to the independent media.

For clarity, one can look at the statistics for previous years:

- In 2022, 26,667 visas were issued;

- In 2021 - only 6,484;

- In 2020 - 8,276;

- In 2019 - 35,187.

The record is still 2015, when the German Embassy in Minsk issued 54,421 visas.
