There Is Another Tax Innovation In Belarus

The changes will be effective retroactively.

Belarus introduced tax changes for individual entrepreneurs. They will be effective from May 16.

So, for individual entrepreneurs introduced a three-year period, during which they will not be able to work, if their annual revenue exceeds Br500 thousand. Before the current innovation, it was an indefinite limitation: if you crossed this threshold, you have no right to work as an Ipashnik, you have the option to either close down or switch to a legal entity.

"An interesting legal twist! IE, which in 2025 will still exceed the revenue threshold of 500,000 rubles, will be able to start operating again in 3 years, - writes the telegram channel "Lawyers and Accounting". - So far there is no answer to the question - why?"

The prohibition is valid for three calendar years starting from January 1 of the year that follows the one in which there was an excess.

The law comes into force on May 16. Moreover, it will be effective retroactively - from January 1 of this year.
