A Meeting Of Representatives Of Ukraine, The United States And Turkey Has Begun In Istanbul

The talks are taking place in Erdogan's working office.

A trilateral meeting of representatives of Ukraine, the United States and Turkey began in Istanbul on Friday, May 16, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

A video published by the ministry shows that the meeting will be attended by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

The talks are taking place at the working office of Turkish President Dolmabahçe in Istanbul. The trilateral meeting is scheduled to be followed by talks between representatives of Ukraine, Russia and Turkey - around 12:30 p.m. on May 16.

The Ukrainian delegation to the meeting with the Russian Federation will be led by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and will also include representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the President's Office, the SBU and the General Staff.

The Russian delegation includes, in addition to Russian dictator Vladimir Medinsky's aide, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin and Chief of the General Staff Igor Kostyukov.
