"It's Been A Long Time Since This Happened": Crimea Massively Attacked By Attack UAVs

The attack comes simultaneously from the air and sea.

On the night of May 2, a series of explosions erupted in occupied Crimea: they were heard particularly near the airport in Simferopol, in Sevastopol, in Gvardeyskoye and Yevpatoria. Russians wrote about the "massive combined attack" on the region and that "this has not happened for a long time". The peninsula's military facilities and airfields have come under a massive attack by attack drones, and there is an attack by maritime UAVs from the sea

"Focus" gathered information about the night attack on occupied Crimea.

At around 00:40 hours, an air alert was declared in Sevastopol due to the threat of attack UAVs. A few minutes later, explosions went off in the occupied city and air defenses were working.

Around 01:00 hours, local publics reported a "massive combined attack" on Crimea. According to the Russians, at least 5 attack UAVs were shot down in the skies above Sevastopol.

An air alert was also declared in Simferopol at around 01:10 hours. There, a loud explosion occurred near the local airport, Crimean publics reported.

A series of explosions also occurred in Gvardeyskoye. According to Crimean monitors, a military unit and a local airfield were under attack here, tentatively. There are also reports of explosions near ammunition depots.

At around 01:40 hours, there was also noise in the Saksky district. There sounded a series of explosions, the work of air defense was heard. The local publick "Crimean Wind" informed that the explosions were heard in the area of the Saki airfield, and subscribers of the channel reported a probable "arrival" at the airfield.

Explosions were also heard in Yevpatoria.

Official information about the May 2 night attack across Crimea is not yet available.
