The Radziwill Palace Of The XVIII Century Was Put Up For Auction Again

Two and a half years after the sale.

The Radziwill palace near Dyatlava in Hrodna region is being sold again. Two and a half years ago it was bought by a Russian businessman for $40. Now the two-storey brick mansion with the area of 1527 square meters has been put up for electronic auction on the site "BUTB-Imuschestvo", reports OL with reference to the press service of the exchange.

The former Radziwill palace near Dyatlovo is more than 270 years old. The construction of the castle was started by Nikolai Faustin Radziwill on the place of a wooden castle burnt down by the Swedes. Then the history of the mansion was connected with the family of Nikolai's son Ulrik Krishtof Radziwill. He was a writer, poet, historian, statesman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire.

The building was tried to be sold at auction several times. The previous time its price was three basic units, at that time - 96 rubles. In the fall of 2022, a businessman from Russia, unrelated to Belarus, bought it for that amount. However, then the Radziwill palace was transferred to the operational management of the Dyatlava district executive committee.

Now the initial price of the mansion is Br296.064 thousand. The land is leased to the owner of the building until November 28, 2072. The area of the land plot itself is 41 hectares. The complex includes a two-storey brick building with a basement and four cold annexes, which were erected in 1751.

According to the terms of the sale, the entrepreneur will have three years to start using the object, and in case of reconstruction, construction or demolition of real estate it will be necessary to do it within the terms determined by the design and estimate documentation. But not later than five years from the date of signing the sale agreement.
