Ukraine's president said the war should be felt where it came from.
The Ukrainian armed forces continue operations on the territory of Russia's Kursk and Belgorod regions. This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky in his traditional evening address on May 2.
According to Zelensky, Russia continues to refuse a complete and sustainable ceasefire, which "irritates even international partners." In response, Ukraine will continue to act both on the front line and on Russian territory.
"War should be felt where it came from," the Ukrainian president stressed.
He also noted that he held a Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Stavka, where the manning of Ukrainian brigades, the development of the missile program and military aviation were discussed. Zelensky said that Ukraine already has F-16 fighter jets and expects new deliveries. Personnel decisions were also made to strengthen aviation management in the Defense Ministry and the General Staff.
