Ukraine's president has announced new details.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky shared new details of his meeting with Trump at the Vatican. He said that the personal conversation gave its results.

About it writes RBC-Ukraine with reference to his statement during the meeting with journalists.

"With President Trump, I believe, we had the best conversation of all. It may have been the shortest, but it was the most substantive. With all due respect to our teams, but the one-on-one format, in my opinion, worked," he said.

The Ukrainian president said that the subsoil agreement itself provides an opportunity to protect future U.S. investments, to protect, in particular, Ukraine and Ukrainians with air defense.

"And so we are ready for the contribution to be air defense systems. I told him the quantity needed - he promised that they would work on it, and it's not free stuff. And I would like to be able to have the possibility that we have access to the purchase of American weapons," Zelensky noted.
