Strike Drones Hit Defense Complex In Russia's Bryansk Region

In Russia, the village of Suzemka in the Bryansk region was attacked by a swarm of drones. The strike hit a company that produces electronics for the Russian defense industry, "Focus" reports.

Local Telegram channels report a large-scale fire after a drone attack.

"A huge column of smoke has been spotted in Suzemka," the "Emergency and DTP Bryansk" telegram channel said.

Around 10 p.m. on May 3, local publics reported a UAV raid in the Bryansk region and urged residents to stay in shelters.

Ukrainian telegram channel Ukrainian Militant wrote that UAVs attacked the Strela plant in the village of Suzemka, Bryansk region. The company produces electronics for the Russian defense industry and cooperates with Rostec Corporation. The attack damaged production workshops, a warehouse and an administrative building.

A fire at the plant in the Bryansk region was also reported by Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko.

"In Bryansk region, after a drone attack, a column of smoke in the area of a company producing electrical equipment," he wrote.

The Russian Defense Ministry, meanwhile, informed that 13 drones had been shot down over Russian territory overnight, including 11 over the Rostov region and three over Bryansk region.
