Zelensky Made A New Statement On The Ceasefire

Ukraine's president calls for increased pressure on Russia.

The Russian Federation will not take real steps to end the war against Ukraine unless the world community increases pressure on it.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wrote about this in microblog X. He recalled that Moscow has been ignoring the United States' proposal for a full ceasefire for 54 days. Meanwhile, for Kiev, a ceasefire is possible at any moment, but it should last at least 30 days to give diplomacy a real chance:

"Putin is eager to show off his tanks at the parade, but he should have thought about how to end his war. Three things are needed: tough sanctions against Russia, continued support for Ukraine, and a substantial increase in defense cooperation across Europe. Russia needs to realize: Europeans are capable of defending themselves."
