Lukashenko Pardons 42 Political Prisoners

18 women and 24 men.

Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 42 people convicted of "extremist crimes. According to the dictator's press service, the decision to pardon was taken "on the eve of Victory Day celebrations."

The pardoned are 18 women and 24 men. Of them, 13 have chronic diseases, one has a disability. 24 convicts have minor children, two have many children. Ten are over 50 years old, one has reached retirement age.
