Lukashenko Started Making Excuses For The Potato Deficit

The dictator admitted that root vegetables are going to Russia.

Lukashenko commented on the situation with potatoes in Belarus. BelTA reports his words.

"If you're worried about potatoes, we'll endure a month. But we won't go without potatoes," said the dictator.

Lukashenko said that "Belarusians want to buy products at low prices, while the farmers are interested in selling their goods more expensive.

Potatoes, according to the ruler, go to Russia, where prices are several times higher.
