Britain's Prime Minister Announces Biggest Package Of Sanctions Against Russia

The shadow fleet of the Russian Federation is under attack.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced the largest package of sanctions against aggressor country Russia.
On his X page, he wrote that the threat that Russian Federation poses to Britain's national security should not be underestimated.
"To increase the pressure on (Russian dictator Vladimir - ed.) Putin, I am announcing the biggest package of sanctions yet. I will always do everything I can to protect the people who work. Security at home. Strength abroad," Starmer said.
The British government said earlier that it would add to sanctions lists up to 100 tankers that form the core of Russia's shadow fleet.
These tankers have transported $24 billion worth of oil since the beginning of 2024. The British government has also recalled that the tankers are damaging undersea cables in Europe.
The threat Russia poses to our national security cannot be underestimated.
To ramp up the pressure on Putin, I'm announcing the largest package of sanctions yet.
